National Family Day is celebrated on the fourth Monday in September every year since 2001, and was created by the National Center on Addiction as a way to reduce substance abuse and other risky behavior in children and adolescents.
Spending this time with your family helps build a strong bonded relationship and trust. On this day we encourage all families to spend quality time together.
Family Day serves as a reminder to incorporate family meals, fun activities and thoughtful conversation throughout the week.
